Leighton Meester admits she was an emotional wreck when she split from boyfriend Sebastian Stan.
Speaking to Seventeen magazine, theGossip Girl actress said the breakup really hurt mainly because he was the first guy she truly liked.
“I’ve only had one experience where it was really hard and I was really sad when it ended,” she said.
“But that’s what taught me a lot about myself and  love and life — and that’s good.”
Meester recently revealed she had to stop being a party girl to get to the top.
“I don’t hit the parties because I rarely go out. I would be too tired,” she said.
“I rarely find myself physically tired because I make a point of always getting a decent amount of sleep.
“It’s putting your priorities in order. I chosen that for myself and I have to do it and want to do it. I enjoy it.”
