Six students from McKinney, McKinney Boyd McKinney North High five and three were named National Merit semi-finalists.

McKinney, Texas - Fourteen elderly McKinney ISD high school were honored by the National Merit Scholarship (NMSC) took their academic performance and commendable performance on the PSAT during their junior year.

Approximately 16,000 students were National Merit semifinalists named nationally.
These 14 seniors have become a finalist in the competition for National Merit.
