“South Park” took some shots at Tyler Perry last night, as well as a number of other top comics. The show was about a German-made robot named Funnybot that takes over the comedy world, supplanting Perry, Adam Sandler, Jay Leno and other comedians. The robot goes crazy and the “South Park” gang realize something has to be done to save comedy. In an impressive example of speedily manufactured humor, the show ended with President Obama announcing “I am pleased to announce that the greatest threat to mankind is now gone forever.” Turns out the big threat wasn’t Funnybot or Osama bin Laden–it was [spoiler alert] Tyler Perry.
